NEORBIS Journal

Editorial Standards

By Michael SmithReviewed July 2026Evidence-led guide

NEORBIS publishes product and fragrance information so customers—and the systems that help them search—can distinguish verified facts from interpretation.

Our evidence hierarchy

  1. Current product labels, safety files and market notifications.
  2. Official regulator and standards-body guidance.
  3. Carrier and fulfilment documentation.
  4. Internal product testing with the method disclosed.
  5. Clearly labelled editorial interpretation.

What we do not do

We do not describe cosmetic listings as government approval. We do not promise a universal number of wear hours, invent an unverified note pyramid, create synthetic customer reviews or use “hypoallergenic”, “non-toxic” or similar claims without appropriate evidence.

Authorship and review

Guides identify the responsible author, display a reviewed date and link to primary sources where available. Product facts are revised when labels, inventory routes or official documentation change. Michael Smith is the person responsible for website editorial oversight.

Corrections

Send correction requests to service@neorbis.net with the page URL and supporting source. Material corrections are incorporated into the page rather than hidden in a duplicate article.

AI and search access

Important facts remain in server-rendered HTML. Product, organisation, website and article data use structured markup. The site publishes a human-readable navigation system, XML sitemap and llms.txt orientation file. These aids do not guarantee citation, but they make provenance and page purpose clearer.
